Meet Chimmu! Sweet, curious, and -- with his gorgeous, golden-brown coat -- one very handsome boy indeed! Born on the streets in India, where his mother overcame many obstacles to keep him and his siblings safe and fed, he is now in a foster home here in the States.

Chimmu is a people-pleaser and very ready for his forever home, where he could chase a ball, snuggle on the sofa, take long walks, and just have fun with his people. Although he has grown up with other dogs, he is shy at first with people he doesn’t know. It won’t take long, though, for him to bond with a family who welcomes him gently and makes him feel at home – in other words, like one of the pack!

Chimmu's stats:
Age: 5 years
Weight: 35 lbs
Good with kids: Unknown
Good with dogs: Some
Good with cats: Unknown
Fenced yard: Yes
Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: No
House trained: Mostly
Crate trained: Yes
Barks when left alone: No
Chews inappropriate items: Yes
Training: Working on basic commands
Activity level: Medium

Chimmu is a courtesy post and not affiliated with our organization.
