Chili's Story

Chili Dog! Chili is roughly a one year old, people loving, beautiful boy who we believe is predominantly mixed with herding breeds. We saved him from euthanasia from an overcrowded shelter in Georgia and we are so glad that we did. He is being fostered WITH A TRAINER so he will be going to his forever home with an amazing foundation and great training already under his belt. Chili is a dog that thrives with structure. He is looking for an active owner who enjoys exercise such as long walks, runs, hiking, etc. He would be an awesome sports dog as well, as he loves the water! He is fostered with other dogs and even young children. He is calm and gentle around the kiddos and will make an amazing family dog.

Chili does well in his crate, walks wonderfully on leash, and absolutely loves (and needs) his physical AND mental exercise! He LOVES playing ball and learning new things. He does great at settling outside of the crate after his exercise needs are met and he a "down for whatever" kind of dog. He is excellent in the car and doesn't make a peep. He does have prey drive so no felines or small animal siblings, please! He does best with playful, submissive, female dogs. He can live with another dog IF it is a good match, but can also be an only dog. He truly would make an awesome companion.

Chili's ideal owner(s) would be someone experienced with higher energy/herding breeds and knows how to handle them. If interested in handsome Chili, please fill out an adoption form so we can start setting him up on some hot dates! He is being fostered in NH so meet and greets can happen anywhere between there and at our training facility in Peabody. All of our adoptions come with a two week foster to adopt and the dog's crate/crate essentials.

Set up your date with this sweet and hard working boy today!

Saving With Bria, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Once an adoption application is filled out and it is good match, a meet and greet is then set up with the potential adopter(s). We spend the first meet and greet talking about the dog, our two week foster-to-adopt process, and how important training is/how to continue training. All questions are encouraged! If the meet and greet is a success and there are not other pets in the home, we will then plan for a second meet and greet and the dog can then begin its foster-to-adopt trial from there. If there are other dogs/pets in the home, the second meet and greet will include the other dogs/pets. If that meet and greet is a success with all parties involved, the foster-to-adopt trial can then be scheduled. We want to ensure that all of our dogs are set up for success and find their forever home..for the very last time!
