Chilaquiles's Story

Courtesy post

Chilaquiles is the sweetest boy with a very playful side! He’s terrified of thunder and feels safest in a kennel when there’s a storm or loud noises. He is kennel trained and is doing great at potty training and hasn’t had an accident. They told us when we took him to get vetted they think he’s 3-4 years old. He is not reactive to dogs but does start to bark and pull at his leash if there’s ever a semi, loud trailer, or tractor nearby. He does great with small and large dogs and even lets small dogs play with him while being gentle with them. As for cats, we have never seen him attack one. It seems like he wants to play with our cats because he’ll go up to them tail wagging but our cats don’t want anything to do with him and run into their cat trees. He does great with our brother who’s 15 but does like to jump when excited and get a bit mouthy, nothing like biting but more like nibbling, which is really funny considering how much extra fat he has around his mouth. Therefore, maybe he wouldn’t be best for small kids but he has never shown any aggression and loves everyone. He likes the sound of squeaky toys but prefers you to play with him than play alone. He loves stinky fish treats and can be picky with the food he eats. He also gives the best kisses!

Please reach out for more info.
