Meet Chief (GA)

Chief is an 18 month old Black and Tan boy waiting in the Augusta area for a new home after being picked up as a stray. His foster mom describes him as "an impossibly cute, audacious puppy!" Chief is very social and likes to be around his people and other dogs as much as possible. He is a quick learner and has picked up "sit", "touch", and "crate" in two weeks and is working on "stay". Underweight at 52 lbs now, he LOVES food, toys and tennis balls, and baying. Playing tug-of-war or fetch is a favorite, too. He is housetrained and working on cratetraining and leashwalking. Chief would do well with other dogs his size that are patient with the usual puppy antics. NO cats, please. Chief is one of those coonies that has such a joyful outlook on life that any mischief is forgiven; he will make an outstanding companion with continued training.
