Chief!!!'s Story

From an emaciated, scared puppy to a loving young dog, Chief has come such a long way. Now he’s only asking for one thing — a family to call his own. ❤️

Chief’s sister was adopted a couple months ago, and I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t break my heart a little every day that he’s still waiting.

When Chief first came to us, he didn’t know if he could trust humans. The first ones in his life left him to fend for himself when he was only about 10 months old. But slowly, day by day, we showed him that not all people leave. By simply showing up for him, giving him patience, love, and attention, he finally learned what it feels like to be safe and cared for.

Now the scared puppy we met has turned into a goofy, loving boy who just wants to be close to his people. Chief is a big snuggle bug with a silly personality, and he deserves a home where he’ll never be forgotten again.

Chief will be 3 years old in September 2026, and he is ready to start the next chapter of his life — with a family of his own.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Chief is waiting to meet you. 🐶
