Chief's Story

Chief lost his home due to illness in the family. We are in the “getting to know you” stages of our relationship so we’ll update his bio as we learn more. Here’s what we know so far:

• Chief is a Standard Poodle with a DOB of September, 2022.
• He is on the small side ~ right at 40 lbs ~ and could stand to gain a few.
• He is smart, lively, and ready for fun!
• He is affectionate and enjoys a good snuggle.
• He keeps his kennel spotless.
• He is working on leash skills. Going for a walk is so exciting!
• He loooves people and appears to like most other dogs; we were told he also likes cats. Proper introductions are recommended.

In addition to regular, professional grooming, Poodles require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Poodles are popular for good reason. They are highly trainable. Chief is no exception. He is a Poodle lover’s dream!

Please help Chief live his best life with a family to love. Complete the following application and a volunteer will be in touch.

https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application

FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives. As such, we screen all potential adopters and strive to match each adopter with the perfect fit for their lifestyle and activity level.

All adopters must live within a 4 hour drive of Parkville, Missouri.
