Chief's Story

Chief is the definition of a sidekick dog. Wherever you go, he wants to be — your shadow, your couch buddy, your backyard helper, your “just checking on you” supervisor.

At only 5 months old, he already has that rare soul-pup personality: deeply affectionate, people-focused, gentle, and happiest simply being near his person. He greets you with a full-body wiggle, leans into you for pets, and will roll over instantly for belly rubs. After a short play session (tennis balls are his favorite), he’s ready to curl up beside you and relax.

He’s learning quickly, happily goes into his crate for a treat, and his potty training is coming along very well. Leash walking has improved a lot, and he gains confidence every day. Chief doesn’t need constant chaos or activity — he just wants a person to love and a home where he can belong.

If you’ve ever wanted a dog who truly bonds to you and becomes your little companion in everyday life, Chief is that dog.

MORE INFO:
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, or scheduled to be if they arrived in our care too young.
