Chief's Story

Meet our young German shepherd mix Chief! Although he’s had a rough start in life, Chief has never let that keep him from being the affectionate goofy boy we have come to love. Chief is on the lookout for his forever home—and he’s bringing a whole lot of love (and energy!) with him. This happy, playful guy is always ready for an adventure, whether that’s going on a family hike, chasing his favorite toys, or curling up for some well-earned snuggles.
He’s great with children and does well with other dogs of all sizes. He can also live with cats when given a slow, proper introduction. Chief would thrive in a home that can match his enthusiasm for life and give him plenty of playtime and attention.
He’s around 4 years and old and fully vetted—neutered, completed heartworm treatment, up to date on all vaccines, and current on flea and heartworm prevention—so he’s more than ready to settle into his new home.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate, goofy companion, Chief might just be your perfect match.
