Chief's Story

Meet Chief

Chief is an 11-month-old, 50-lb Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a heart of gold. He may be a little shy when stepping into a new environment, but once he warms up, he blossoms into one of the sweetest, most loyal companions you could ask for. Chief is likely a super mutt, and his personality 100% does not match a working breed. Chief is neutered and up to date on shots.

Chief absolutely loves people and gets along well with other dog. He's very people-friendly, but shy around men. He takes treats gently, knows his name, and walks beautifully on a leash. Bones are his favorite toys, chin scratches are his weakness, and outdoor time makes him happiest (bath time... not so much!).

He is fully potty trained, kennel trained, and house trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Chief would thrive in a quieter household and would do best with older, respectful kids who understand his gentle, slightly shy nature.

If you're looking for a loving, well-mannered dog who just needs a little time to trust before giving you his whole heart, Chief could be your perfect match.

Being fostered in Marshfield, WI

My adoption fee is $400 and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org.
