This 7-year-old Chihuahua mix looks just like a tiny Ewok, with his fluffy face and sweet expression that instantly makes people smile.<br/><br/>Chico came to us after his beloved owner passed away, and as you can imagine, it has taken him a little time to understand that his world has changed. At first he was very unsure, but day by day he has been slowly coming out of his shell. Now he happily greets the people he knows with a wagging tail and a little sparkle in his eyes.<br/><br/>While Chico can be shy when meeting new people, once he feels comfortable his friendly personality really shines. He enjoys little adventures, exploring his surroundings, and tagging along wherever his person goes. Chico also does well with other dogs and seems to enjoy having canine friends around.<br/><br/>Chico would do best with a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to settle in and feel safe again.
