Hi, I’m Chicken Tender 🐔💛<br/><br/>I originally came to the shelter on 08-28-2025 as a stray. I spent 143 days here waiting. One hundred and forty three days of hoping someone would choose me.<br/><br/>Then they did.<br/><br/>I was finally adopted. I thought my wait was over. I thought I had my forever.<br/><br/>But just two weeks later, I was returned through no fault of my own.<br/><br/>And now I’m starting over again.<br/><br/>I may be a tiny 27-pound dog, but I have the love and energy of a dog ten times my size. I adore running my zoomies, both inside and out. I go absolutely crazy for toys and soft, cuddly things. After I’ve burned off my puppy energy, I love curling up in my blanket and just being close.<br/><br/>I don’t understand why I’m back. I just know I’m still waiting.<br/><br/>It’s hard watching the days go by and seeing people pass my kennel without stopping. I hope someone notices my puppy eyes, my little body, and my very big heart. I am sweet. I am gentle. I just want to belong.<br/><br/>The important stuff:<br/>I’ve been spayed, microchipped, and I am up to date on my rabies vaccine. There are no geographical adoption restrictions. Anyone is eligible to adopt.<br/><br/>If you have room in your home and your heart for a tiny dog with so much love to give, please come meet me. I’m ready for a forever that actually lasts this time. 💛🐾
