Chi's Story
CHI – Lab Mix / 2.5 Years / 29kg / M-Neutered

Front line rescue crews found Chi and his mum in an empty lot where they were struggling to find enough food to keep them both alive. Rushing them off to safety, Chi has since spent his whole life in the shelter, where he’s been receiving much needed TLC and has grown into a truly amazing boy.

A shelter favourite, Chi is a complete natural at connecting with humans and canines alike. He just knows that he wants to be friends with everyone. Chi loves the simple things in life: playtime with his doggo friends, good toys, and plenty of cuddling with his human caregivers. Chi would love a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play with his canine BFFs until he’s ready for naptime. This boy definitely needs a dog-pal: not only is he obsessed with other dogs, he also looks to them for confidence and guidance.

Chi has been waiting far too long for a family of his own. We know they’re out there. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful, and loyal cuddle-bug, Chi is your guy. Please check out www.dibsrescue.com for the adoption process and application. His adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
