Cheyenne's Story

Meet Cheyenne!

Cheyenne is a 2-year-old female Pit Bull with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. She enjoys adventuring in the backyard with her senior dog friend and has plenty of energy to keep you busy. Cheyenne would do best in a home with no other pets or someone who can monitor toys/food. Cheyenne had a rough past where she was not treated the best and can resource guard basic items such as water, food and toys.

When kids come around, her tail goes into full wag mode, whether it's time to run around the yard or curl up on the couch, Cheyenne is all in.

She's comfortable in her crate and will often go in on her own to relax or take a nap. Cheyenne walks well on a leash, is eager to please, and would thrive with a person or family who can give her space to exercise along with continued socialization and training. To give her the best possibly start, Zoom Room Metcalf will provide five free training sessions to Cheyenne's adopter.

Cheyenne is available to LOCAL adopters only (KC area) through our Foster to Adopt program. Her adopters will be required to transport her to and from her already scheduled veterinary appointment(s). She is currently heartworm positive and receiving treatment which is covered by Lucky 13 Rescue.

Her adoption fee is $275, which includes all age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm prevention.

Ready to meet Cheyenne?
Complete an application today at:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog
