Meet Cheyenne
Update: I’m just in love with this little momma and family! She’s so precious and lets everyone pet her and her puppies. Cheyenne the mother just craves attention and belly rubs. She’s so easy and quiet. She’s a good momma. There are four males and three females. The two blue dapples are males. And there are four black ones and one brown one. I can’t believe she carried those seven babies are hardly showed signs. We had only suspected a week ago she might be pregnant. As much as I love raising all these litters, 4 litters have been born in our rescue in the last three months which is very unusual for us, but we really would love a foster home now to move them into. I promise you’ll love this little crew. We supply everything you could possibly need. Momma does most of the work the first month or so. Please text 7046509653 if you are local charlotte or union county and can foster these babies. Thank you.
This little girl is officially available for adoption now. We’ve named her Cheyenne. Cheyenne came to us from the backroads of Rowan county where the stretch of road is known as the dumping grounds. Animal control told the finder they receive a couple hundred calls a month for dogs and cats dumped on that stretch. In the three weeks we’ve had her here and briefly in a foster home we’ve learned a lot about her likes and dislikes and how smart she really is. Cheyenne loves to run explore and play. She loves all people. She can be intimidated by larger dogs and can also be a bit of a bully at the same time in typical terrier fashion when it comes to territory over food or sheer excitement of another dog. We feel she is best as an only dog for this reason. Cheyenne is now crate and leash trained and housebroken. Shes is extremely smart and loves to learn and please. Shes about one yrs old and about 20lbs. Perfect family dog or adventure seeking family that enjoys the outdoors. Not a couch potatoe or an elderly persons dog. This girl needs adventure and a job to do. She’d be a great jogging companion also. Always happy and not yappy!
