Meet Chex!

Chex is a 5 month old, 24lb terrier/lab (and maybe boxer/hound based off his bark and personality) mix who would love nothing more than to find a family who is looking to add a clown dog into their mix. He is full of love and personality, loves to give kisses and go on adventures and walks well on leash. He has a good amount of energy so although he loves kids he can be a jumper so not recommended for homes with kids under 8, but he is working on keeping all 4 feet on the ground. He loves his food and has gotten pretty good at all the puzzle toys in his foster home and he also loves entertaining himself by throwing his plush toys around and chasing after them. Playful with other dogs but not tested with cats. He sleeps through the night in his crate and is pretty much potty trained when taken out on a frequent schedule, but since he's a puppy this will need continued work. He does tend to whine or bark for a few minutes when left in his crate alone at first so apartment life is probably not for him. Best guess he will be about 40-50 lbs full grown. Overall he is just a happy friendly guy so don't delay applying to meet him!
Chex is fostered in Oconomowoc, WI and is available for adoption through Ma, Paws, & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. He is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention at the time of adoption. Adoption fee is $425. All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
