Chewy's Story

Take me home today!<br/>I was surrendered to the shelter and am now looking for a new home! I am a very sweet and energetic boy who loves to play! I am estimated to be around 4 years old. I came in with Gamora, but it is unknown how I do with other dogs. I would love to go to a home with Gamora, but it is not a requirement. I do great with people and love attention! I have not done too great with other animals and will need to go to a home with NO cats or small animals!! My biggest weakness is stuffy toys with squeakers. I love them so much that I will need to be supervised around them, because I will destroy them in seconds! I appear to be housetrained and know most basic commands. I am a very hard puller on the leash and will need someone who can manage my strength and give me the proper training I need. I would do great with kids that respect my boundaries and would make the best family dog! I have had a couple surgeries since being here at the shelter. I had a hernia repaired and I had to have my tail amputated. I had a condition called "happy tail" which caused me to smack my tail on everything and anything with so much power it would break open. I now have a cute little bob tail so that does not happen again. I am already neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, now ready to meet my new loving family!
