Chewy and Leila Terrier Mix Portland, OR

Terrier mix puppies Chewy (black and white coat) and Leila (brown and white coat) were found on the side of a busy street in Houston, Texas when they were only 3 months old. A team member's sister-in-law rescued them and brought them to Save Some Souls.

Currently, the sisters are being fostered in Seattle, Washington but can travel to other cities and states, to the right home.

Leila is more energetic than Chewy, and more outgoing and playful, while Chewy is the shy one.

They are amazingly sweet pups, who are very bonded. They are more attached to each other due to the trauma they survived together when they were living on the streets. Therefore, we will prefer homes where they can be adopted together.

The pups are fearful of young children, and hide under furniture from kids. Therefore a home without children will be ideal for them.

They are very velcro with their humans and would love a home where they are getting attention from their humans. An experienced adopter will be very important.

They love to go to dog parks, and love to play with other pups. They are super adorable and not at all hyper. They are very well-behaved in public.

While they were living in Houston, they were being fostered at a home with large and small dogs, and they played with both sizes.

They also love to be petted and chill with their foster mom when she is working.

The sisters are now 5 months old, current on vaccination, spayed, and microchipped, They do know how to use puppy pads and are housebroken as well.

They are kept on heartworm and flea preventative.

Yards, if any, must be fully and adequately fenced, to be considered for our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
