Chewy's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Chewy was found as a stray at a local shelter. He is a little shy, likes other dogs and was good with his first cat introduction. He is currently in a volunteer’s heated and air conditioned garage kennel with access to a fenced yard via a dog door and is clean in his kennel. He is learning to walk on a leash and he would do best in a quiet home and would love a buddy. He is very affectionate and loves attention.

Kindness Matters Rescue Inc.'s Adoption Policy

We currently use Facebook and outreach to showcase our animals for adoption. Potential adopters are directed to the website to fill out an adoption application which asks for information on home, other pets, family makeup, etc. We then conduct phone interviews and schedule a home visit. Once that is complete we set up a "meet and greet" and if all goes well we fill out our adoption contract.
