Chewy 26C-75C

Chewy, and his family companions, Gracie, Oreo, and Jo Jo, were orphaned when their humans were tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. All four canines have lived together for many years and are true best friends. The Humane Society is hoping for a caring human to adopt all four dogs to keep their canine family intact but we understand that it is equally important to have loving homes for each, whether together or singularly adopted.

Chewy has assumed the role model position in the family companion hierarchy. His mellow nature and patient mindset are easily viewed as you look into his kind, compassionate eyes. During his bark park visit, he ambled up to the bench and shared a gentle muzzle touch with one of his favorite Humane Society volunteers. Chewy is also the most curious of the foursome and to protect the park visitors, he gave a “what are you doing here?” nose check to a rather unorthodox character, who suspiciously reached out his hands to try to worm his way into the party. Thanks to Chewy, it didn’t work. Chewy has an easy-going, courteous personality that makes you feel welcomed and appreciated.
