MEDICAL: up to date on Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella and Lymes; on heartworm and flea/tick prevention; takes Metamucil with each meal and should be kept on this for life!<br/><br/>PERSONALITY: Chevy the Fox Hound (appx. 8 years old and appx. 55 pounds) is as sweet as can be and is looking for his forever home! Despite a rough start on life, this amazing guy gets along great with dogs and loves people (although he will cower sometimes when he gets scared of someone new). Chevy was found as a stray in Cleveland and was in pretty bad shape physically. He had an untreated hernia that needed to be fixed, a polyp that needed to be removed, several rotten teeth, and he was horribly skinny! Chevy went through some pretty major surgery with a specialist to get fixed up but he has healed up wonderfully! His second and final surgery, a dental, is scheduled for June 28th and then he’ll be ready for his forever home! Chevy currently takes Metamucil with every meal (the generic brand as it is much cheaper!) and the vet would like him to stay on that for life. He is housebroken, crate trained, handles very well at the vet, and walks nicely on a leash. Even though Chevy has to stay with the rescue until his dental is done, he can start taking applications and visitors now! Interested?
