Chevy's Story

?ADOPT CHEVY?
M | 9Y | 33.4 KG | Mixed Breed | Neutered | UTD on shots | Housebroken | Crate Trained | Knows basic commands | Not dog tested | Not cat tested | kid tested | Fostered in London, ON

Get ready to rev up your engines to welcome the energetic Chevy! Chevy has a sweet and affectionate personality that's bound to make you fall in love with him. He's always ready to play, but he also knows when it's time to be calm.

Some of Chevy's favourite things include a nice morning walk for him to burn off energy and enjoy all the sights around the neighbourhood. Chevy is very food motivated and strives off of structure, so having training sessions and fun enrichment activities will keep his mind engaged. Even though Chevy enjoys his physical activity, he's always ready to spend time with his humans - whether that's sitting by their side or getting some much-deserved belly rubs.

Chevy is still working on his leash walking skills. He sometimes will lunge and pull at his leash when something catches his attention. However, with consistent redirection and leash training, Chevy has already started to make progress. Consistent training and patience will help him make great progress in the future.

Chevy can be reactive to dogs depending on the situation and the individual dog, but has not met any dogs off-leash. With gradual introductions and proper boundaries, Chevy could coexist well with a doggy sibling. Chevy has not met any cats. Chevy has interacted with small children and is wonderful with them. Chevy can be protective of his family, so introducing guests gradually and making sure they approach him calmly and respectfully will help maintain positive interactions.

If you're looking for a buddy that's sweet and playful, then Chevy is the dog for you! Once he feels comfortable in his environment, his gentle and loyal side shines through.
