COURTESY POST <br/><br/>Introducing handsome CHESTER! This wonderful boy was saved from a van on Skid Row where he was living with 16 other dogs (5 adults and 12 puppies). He was confined to a small cage with a Shepherd mix named Lainey. Such a horrible life for any dog but now, safe and blossoming, Chester is ready for a forever home! <br/><br/>Chester is an intelligent and sensitive boy and oh, so very sweet!! Though initially shy once he knows and trusts you, he loves being close and goes belly up for tummy rubs. Chester is great in the car, loves going on walks, does fairly well on leash (mild pulling) and is non-reactive to other dogs, horses and peacocks. He is eager to please and checks in frequently. Chester is dog-friendly and currently fostered with 2 other dogs, also saved from the Skid Row van. They all play together and get along well. <br/><br/>Chester needs a kind and patient *breed savvy* guardian. Smart as a whip he’s figured out how to climb a fence. In general, he is soft and quiet but still adjusting. We know this special boy will thrive and truly come into his own once in a loving home! <br/><br/>*Foster To Adopt* an option
