Cherub Meadow's Story
Cherub Meadow A181953
55 lb. neutered male, approx 4 years old

-He's a gentle, slow moving guy
-He seems to be a potty holder and may be house trained but that's our best guess. And....a new home with new routines does take time!
-Right away he came over to me and offered me his paw for pets
-I went to the floor and he scooted in close for more attention. Eventually he was sprawled out enjoying belly rubs.
-He loves snacks and perks up when he hears the crinkle of the bag. He sits, gives paw, lays down (with a little direction and encouragement) and takes them gently.
-He's not currently showing interest in toys
-He gives a tiny little kiss here and there
-An easy going guy with lower energy
-He walks nicely on leash without pulling
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
