Meet Cherry!<br/>Cherry is a beautiful 2-year-old female black German Shepherd mix who should weigh around 70 pounds once fully filled out. She welcomed a litter of 11 puppies in late November and has truly been an incredible mama from start to finish. Cherry is vaccinated and will be spayed.<br/><br/>Cherry’s gentle temperament and patient, loving nature with her babies—and the other dogs in her foster home—have been nothing short of amazing. Now that her puppies are ready to move on, it’s Cherry’s turn to find a family of her own.<br/><br/>This sweet girl adores people and is happiest when she’s near her humans, soaking up attention and being part of everyday life. Whether she’s lounging nearby or quietly following you around the house, Cherry just wants to belong.<br/><br/>**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
