Chelsie's Story

Chelsie is 3-4 years old. She was left for dead in a kennel by her previous owner with dementia. She was a horrifying skeleton weighing only 26 pounds when she was found (now 37 lbs and still skinny, but healthy!). It is a miracle she is alive today.

She is incredibly sweet and loves couch cuddles.
She does great with our 3 year old son.
She loves all people she meets and isn't a barker.

She will need someone patient to help her with her crate training. She actually does great with no accidents in the home! But she does still have accidents when she is kenneled.

She gets along fine with other dogs in the home, but prefers human companionship to dogs.

She is rather easy going and could go on walks or stay at home and lounge!

Chelsie is ready for unconditional love and safety.

Redemption Tails Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Redemption Tails, our goal is simple: to find each dog a loving, forever home—one where they are truly a part of the family. That’s why we have a thorough adoption application process. We want to ensure the best possible match for both the dog and the adopter. These animals have already been through so much—they deserve stability, care, and commitment. If for any reason the match isn’t right, we require that the dog be returned to our care. We do not want any of our dogs to end up in unsafe situations or shelters. Their safety and well-being will always be our top priority.
