Chelsea's Story
Meet Chelsea,a resilient pup searching for her forever home. Chelsea’s journey has been anything but easy, but her spirit remains as sweet and strong as ever. You may remember Chelsea from last year — she came to us with her feline siblings after the heartbreaking loss of their owner. While her siblings were quickly adopted, Chelsea had to wait a bit longer before finally finding a new home. Unfortunately, her new beginning took an unexpected turn.. Just two days after being adopted, Chelsea escaped and was tragically hit by a car. Miraculously, her injuries were not life-threatening, but she did require urgent medical care. We organized a basket raffle to raise funds for Chelsea's medical bills. She underwent multiple tooth extractions and X-rays, and was diagnosed with a minor leg fracture. The vets assured us that she would make a full recovery and go on to live a happy, healthy life. Despite her recovery, Chelsea continued to escape due to circumstances beyond her control, but we were able to safely retrieve her. A home with a fenced backyard is a must to ensure her safety and peace of mind. Chelsea is a sweet, loving girl, and we hope to find her a suitable home this time. Since she lived with cats, we know she gets along with them, but she is selective with other dogs. We ask for kindness and understanding — please refrain from negative comments. Chelsea has been through so much, and our goal is simply to find her the compassionate family she needs.
