TrustRescue's Adoption Policy
There are two ways to adopt a dog through Trust Rescue: Option 1: Submit an application online. Application undergoes checks and review by an Adoption Counselor. If pre-approved, a meet is scheduled (typically Wednesday or Saturday). Option 2: Attend an adoption event. Spend time with the dogs and submit an application on-site. Once the application passes checks, the dog can go home the same day. Adoptions follow a semi-open process based on best practices from Best Friends Animal Society, HASS, and Maddie’s Fund.
