Cheese's Story
Cheese came to Seymour Mutts in early February. He's a younger guy who is approximately 6 months old. He currently weighs about 35 pounds but still has some growing to do. Cheese was found as a stray with his brother and presumed mother -- his mom, Jojo, is a 30# beagle mix and his brother looked like a big chiweenie so your guess on Cheese's breed is about as good as ours!

When Cheese first arrived at his foster home he was understandably a bit scared, but he's really come out of his shell and has fun being a puppy! He is social with the other dogs in his foster home (three pit bulls) and loves following them around and licking their faces. He is learning to play with toys, and really enjoys any toy that squeaks. He is a very sweet boy who likes playing with his foster dog friends and then snuggling in for a nap. He also lives with several kitties in his foster home and mostly ignores them.

Dogs at Seymour Mutts Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:

Spay/neuter
Rabies, distemper (DHPP), and bordetella vaccines
Microchip
Heartworm testing for dogs over 6 months of age
Deworming
Heartworm and flea/tick preventative

We believe in lowering the barriers to adoption and because of this we do not require a minimum adoption fee. We do, however, rely on financial contributions. Any funds received is at the discretion of the adopter and goes toward the care of animals in our rescue.
