Cheddar's Story
? Meet Cheddar – The Ultimate Adventure Buddy & Cuddle Champ! ?

Hey there, I’m Cheddar! I arrived last summer as a 6-month-old pup, which means I’m now over a year old—still full of that fun-loving, goofy puppy energy but with some solid training under my belt.

I’m a Paws for Life K9 prison program graduate, so I’ve already built a great foundation of skills, but I’m always eager to learn more—especially if food is involved! Training? Love it. Learning new tricks? Sign me up. I’m a smart, motivated guy who thrives when I have structure and leadership.

But don’t let my work ethic fool you—I’m also a total lovebug. Cuddling might just be my all-time favorite thing. Whether I’m playing tug, practicing fetch, or adventuring on hikes (yep, I can keep up on those 6-12 mile treks!), I’m always ready to settle in for some snuggles after. I’ve even gotten the hang of running next to a bike and going on jogs!

I get along great with other dogs—my foster sister and I go from wrestling to cuddling in no time—and I’ve mastered my crate training. Just tell me to go in, and I’m there! But here’s the key to my success: I need structure and leadership to be my best self. Let me make up my own rules, and I’ll start assigning myself jobs I have no business doing (trust me, it’s better for everyone if you’re the boss!).

I’ve been waiting patiently for my forever home, and I know my perfect match is out there. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and fun-loving companion who’s up for adventures and snuggles in equal measure, I’m your guy!

Apply to adopt me today!
www.thepittieprojectpnw.org/apply
