When he's not chasing balls, you'll find him splashing in water, going for a run, working on a Kong, or carefully sampling every squeaky and plush toy in the building. He's a true toy connoisseur.<br/><br/>At a year and a half, Cheddar still has plenty of puppy in him, and we'd be lying if we said otherwise. But this boy has been making lovely progress lately. With help from his vet and a lot of work from our staff, he's become calmer, more patient, and much better at keeping his excitement in check. We're really proud of him, and he's pretty proud of himself too.<br/><br/>Cheddar is a social butterfly who loves other dogs, big or small, and he's even friendly with our resident kitty. He likes checking in on everyone and being right in the middle of the action. He's housetrained, rides great in the car, and will happily train for treats any day of the week.<br/><br/>He'll be happiest in an active home with people who love to play, get outside, and keep teaching him new things. Since he's a social guy, he'd love a family that's around often. Older kids who can keep up with his energy would be a great match.
