Meet Cheddar

Meet Cheddar! He is a 1.5-year-old American Bulldog mix we recently transferred in from Gary Animal Control. You can catch Cheddar cheesin' in all of his pictures with that little underbite. He's a good mix of playful energy and affectionate. Cheddar loves just sitting by your side getting all of the good scratches in. He's a big fan of treats and will sit very nicely for them. We suggest a home where the children are at least 8+ years old because he is uncomfortable with being suddenly grabbed or held. They need to be old enough to respect his boundaries. He's also been keeping his kennel tidy while being let out consistently, so we think he may be potty trained as well. We haven't had a chance to test him with other dogs just yet, but he does seem interested. This handsome boy can't wait to have a home to call his own, come meet Cheddar!
