Meet Cheddar
*IF YOU CAN SEE THIS POST, I AM STILL AVAILABLE AND LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER FAMILY*
Meet Cheddar! He is estimated to be a 10 month old cattle dog mix, and currently weighs 25 lbs. He is extremely playful, happy and affectionate with the young children in his foster home! He can be ‘mouthy’ when he plays by pulling on clothing, but his foster family has been working hard on teaching him to not play that way. He is very smart, and he has learned so much so far! Cheddar is very eager to please and he is driven by both food and toys. He has learned “come”, “go potty”, “sit” “lay down”, “leave it” and is working with his foster on learning a lot more commands! He is a great listener indoors, but outside he gets very excited by the smells, sights, and sounds around him since everything is pretty new for him! Cheddar has been doing great with crate training and potty training in his foster home.
Cheddar loves to play chase, fetch, tug of war, and most of all he loves belly rubs!! He is a high energy player and it is quickly followed by being a total couch potato. He currently loves to cuddle on the floor with the kids in his foster home for movie time! Cheddar is not currently fostered with another dog, but if you have another dog already we will help with a good introduction to your pack! He does display high prey drive, so we are recommending a family without chickens or cats.
Cheddar gets along well with everyone including adults and kids. He isn’t a shy dog, and has done great with his paws, ears, belly touched and enters a bathtub for a bath just fine! Cheddar is fostered in La Center, WA and he is ready to find his family.
Cheddar's adoption fee is $600
