Meet Checko! Checko was surrendered with his brothers and sister when their owner passed away. He is around 10-11 months old and is 8.4lbs and won’t get much bigger. He tends to be on the shy side but as you can tell from his pics, he warms up very quickly and does fine with his humans. When he gets scared he tends to freeze in this position with his head up and it makes you want to hug him. Once he warms up he is very happy and wiggly with typical puppy behavior and zoomies. Checo is absolutely in love with one of the other foster dogs (the long legged chi in a few photos) so if you are open to adopting two, that would be the best Christmas gift ever. However, they don’t have to go together.<br/><br/>Checko would do best in a home with another dog as he is very playful with them. He would do fine in a home with well behaved kids over the age of 8 since he is shy and small. Checko is current on vaccinations, is heartworm negative and has an upcoming neuter next week. His adoption fee is $200 (that includes upcoming spay and chip). No apartments, please. We require a house with a fenced yard.
