Checkers's Story
Update: Kona has been adopted. 9-month-old Checkers is still waiting for his forever home.

Meet Kona and Checkers! These 8-month-old brother and sister duo were literally dumped into a vacant backyard and left. Their rescuer found them and decided to get them ready to find the best home ever. We aren't 100% on what their breed is, but they appear to be a terrier of sorts. Maybe some Australian Cattle Dog.. the boy looks like a Blue Heeler and the girls looks like a Red Heeler.

Kona is the female and is very very active. She loves to run, play in the water and can't get enough belly rubs. She will need an active home that will burn her energy! Checkers is active, but a little more mellow than his sister, Kona. He also loves the water. Both of these babies are love bugs and do great with cats, dogs and kids. They would benefit from a household that has time to train puppies and can give them the attention and exercise.

Both doggies are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormer. If you are interested, an application must be filled out, followed by a meet/greet and home check. Their adoption fee is $150 to help cover their vetting costs.
