CHASE- Needs a foster/forever home!'s Story
Chase's estimated birth year: 2021

Will you be the one to open your heart and home to show Chase there's more to the world than at the end of a chain? We are thankful that the owner did right by him and finally surrendered him to us. Chase is a handsome male Boxer mix who lived his short life at the end of a chain...even as a pup. He was cheated out of his puppy months, when he should have been smothered in kisses and hugs, he was rattling a chain outside by himself.

Chase was found to be Heartworm positive and has gone through his heartworm treatment. He will require monthly Heartgard for the rest of his life. Chase takes some time to warm up to new people. Once he trusts you, you have a wonderful buddy!! Chase is a great dog that loves to be cuddled and hugged, but needs guidance. He has come a long way and is very eager to please and responds really well to praise. Chase loves to pull with his chew toys, snuggle, and run around in the yard. NO SMALL DOGS!! May do ok with a large dog after a very slow introduction. He would love to be the only dog. NO CATS!! Children 10 years old or older. His forever home is REQUIRED to have a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and hang out with his people. He needs to be a companion dog to an active person/couple. Chase is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and house and crate trained. We are looking for that special someone who has the understanding and patience with a gentle hand to teach him. The rewards will be priceless.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs. No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Chase's adoption fee is $300.

HANDSOME CHASE WOULD LOVE TO BE IN A FOSTER HOME WHILE HE WAITS TO BE ADOPTED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING OR ADOPTING SWEET CHASE, APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE WWW.MAKEADIFFERENCERESCUE.COM OR AT ADOPTION EVENTS.
