Chase's Story
Meet Chase, a one-year-old, maybe heeler mix, who's come an incredible distance from his feral beginnings. What was once fear has turned into trust, and he's learning every day that people can be kind and loving.

Chase is crate trained with no accidents and enjoys quiet time in his safe space. He still needs a little help loading into the car (he prefers to be gently lifted), and his favorite “game” is running just out of reach outside—it's his playful way of saying, “Catch me if you can!” Once you get down on his level, though, he'll come close for shy kisses and even ask for belly rubs.

Chase is looking for a patient, gentle family who will keep helping him blossom into the happy, confident dog he's meant to be.

Apply to meet him today at carerescueok.org!
