Chase's Story

Chase is a young approx 38 lb, 2 year old, neutered and fully vetted male! His journey started off as a stray in Kentucky and is now in NH! Though he is a cattle dog mix; he is low - medium energy. He is housetrained and good with dogs.
Chase is fully satisfied throughout the day with a couple walks and hanging around the yard an hour or two a day. He walks so well that he can be on a hands free leash. A fenced yard is not required.

He is a sweet lovebug who greets his people with a loose wiggly body. He has done well with basic training in foster care. He would be very enriched with nose, trick and obedience work. Overall he is an amazing companion dog. His ideal family will have no dogs, seeks a velcro dog and is interested in providing enrichment. Chase has not been formally kid or cat tested.

Adjusting to the resident dog has taken a full 3 weeks to coexist in the same room. He was scared and reactive to start but now has no interest in the dog.
From Chase’s perspective: “I love having all of my foster humans’ attention for myself and don’t care about the other dog in the home. I’d rather live as an only dog but could coexist with another low- medium energy dog after a very slow introduction.”

A meet and greet is preferred before living with any other animals.

If you want to learn more about Chase please email his foster home at alinarapaj@gmail.com or fill out an application for me at www.acdra.org.

Complete an Application:
https://www.acdra.org/adoption-applicationt
