No appointment needed!<br/><br/>ALSO THIS WEEKEND:<br/>SATURDAY, JAN. 17 from 12-3 PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at PETSMART in OLATHE (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>——————<br/><br/>CHASE is a beautiful young Husky! Chase is very friendly and affectionate. He's playful and silly, but not overly active like some Huskies. He's easy to walk on a leash. Chase gets along well with other dogs. He has a gorgeous coat that's in great shape. He's a wonderful boy!<br/><br/>He is 2 years old and he weighs 54 lbs.<br/><br/>Sadly, Chase tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Chase will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
