Meet Chase
Chase, a 2 year-old, male, black and tan, German Shepherd/Husky needs someone who has handled large breeds before. He is working with a trainer and comes with lessons to work on his resource guarding.
Described as extremely physically affectionate. Chase wants and loves to be right wherever the humans are and will follow his preferred human from room to room just to see what's up and if he can help. He's a born companion. If you sit on the ground he will crawl into your lap looking for cuddles and love, and offer up his chest and belly for a rub at a moment's notice. Chase is strong and athletic, loves walks, and wants to please. He's also very smart. According to his trainer, he also has a significant amount of anxiety and low self esteem, both of which the trainer believes will be responsive to continued training.
Chase is neutered and up-to-date on his vet care. He is house trained, leash trained, crate trained and responds to basic commands. He is not suited for a house with young children. He does well with other dogs, but we are not sure about cats.
