Chase's Story
Meet Chase!

8 year old
22lbs
Beagle Mix

Chase is an 8-year-old beagle mix with a big heart, a curious nose, and an endless supply of affection for his people. When he’s out and about in the house, he’s curious and likes to explore—typical dog behavior—so keeping an eye on him helps him make good choices. When it’s time to relax, his crate is his off-switch. He settles beautifully there and clearly finds comfort and security in having his own cozy space.

He has a nice amount of energy for walks and daily activity and is continuing to improve on leash (he may pull a bit at times but is making progress). After activity and attention, he’s happy to wind down—especially if his crate is nearby.

Chase doesn’t really play with toys yet, and we suspect he may not have had many in the past. That just means his future family gets to introduce him to new experiences at his own pace.

We’ve been told Chase has done well with cats previously, though we haven’t had direct cat exposure ourselves.

Why Chase is special:
Chase is affectionate, loyal, quiet for a beagle, and deeply people-oriented. He wants to be near his humans, soak up love, and be part of a routine. He would do wonderfully in a home that enjoys giving attention, appreciates a dog who loves structure, and understands that crates can be a positive, comforting tool.

Chase is ready for a forever home where he’ll be loved, guided, and cherished—and in return, he’ll give you unwavering devotion and companionship.

Interested in adopting? From there, we’d schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.

Questions about adoption?
