Chase's Story

Oh how Chase is just the most adorable Jack Russel/ Chihuaha mix! This love bug is 2yrs old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Chase is a very sweet boy and dog friendly. He would do better with dogs bigger than him. He loves to play with his foster buddy who's a Golden Retriever! Because he can play rough (typical Jack Russel) other little dogs might not like his play style. Chase is true to the Jack Russel breed with having a lot of energy. But once he gets some exercise he settles right down. We will require a fenced in yard for Chase so he can run around. Also, if you're a walker, that's a great way to get a dogs enery out! Pawsitive Impact NC Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our standard adoption zone is within a 50 mile radius of Charlotte, NC. Applicants in our standard adoption zone have priority in adopting our rescued dogs. This is because we try to reduce the amount of travel stress that our adoptable dogs would have to endure. If you do apply to adopt a dog and you live out of our standard adoption zone, please be prepared to find a local rescue group that will conduct a home check on our behalf, and please also be prepared to come to Charlotte, NC to meet/adopt the dog if your application is approved. We do not “ship” animals, even if your application has been approved. Adoption process for Pawsitive Impact NC Dog Rescue. 1. Fill out application 2. We review application and call vet references as well as personal references. 3. Meet and Greet with the rescue dog is scheduled. 4. Home Visit is scheduled. 5. Decision is made based on the best interest of the rescue dog. Our goal is finding their forever home and family. We want to be sure that the fit is the best for the rescue dog and the family.
