Chase's Story

Chase is approximately 4 years old and weighs 38 pounds. Poor chase was dumped on the street and picked up by the police. The police found out his owner was in jail and his girlfriend dumped him. Poor chase was in horrible condition. He had a severe skin infection, he was underweight, had giardia and his nails were so long he could hardly walk. He also had a severe upper respiratory infection and spent 5 days in the hospital receiving antibiotics and fluids. After he recuperated from all of that, he was neutered, given his shots, microchipped, checked for heartworm and had a fecal where they discovered giardia (he was treated for that after his neuter). The second picture shows the terrible condition he was in when he came into our rescue. He is now safe and well taken care of. He is a sweet lovable beagle, likes to lay on the couch. He does have that typical beagle bellow. Chase is great with other dogs, loves to play. He is crate trained. He will make a wonderful companion.
