Charlotte's Story

Charlotte, Female, Labrador X, 1 year old, 42 lbs.

Charlotte has had a hard start to life, but you would never know it from the way she loves. Her resilience, intelligence, and remarkable emotional awareness shine through the moment you meet her. She’s one of those rare dogs who can read a room. She is perceptive, sensitive, and deeply attuned to the people around her.

Her foster family describes her as loyal, loving, and incredibly eager to bond. Once she trusts you, Charlotte becomes the most devoted companion, the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to curl up beside you and stay close. She loves to cuddle, thrives on affection, and shows her gratitude in the sweetest ways.

Charlotte gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has excellent leash manners. She has great recall, too, and can be trusted to walk around outside the house without a lead. She really enjoys her walks and loves exploring.

While she does experience separation anxiety, her confidence grows quickly with stability and loving care. With a patient adopter who can offer reassurance and routine, she will blossom beautifully.

This clever girl enjoys chewing her bones, absolutely adores carrots (a natural plaque-fighter!), and has a playful, curious spirit. She’ll also let you know when someone is near the home, and express her excitement when she sees you. Her protective voice comes from a place of love and wanting to keep herself and her people safe. A home with cats is not suitable for Charlotte.

If you’re looking for a dog who is loyal, sensitive, joyful, and ready to give her whole heart to the right person, Charlotte could be your perfect match.

Charlotte has been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Charlotte is $600.00.

For more information or to request an adoption application, please email info@homeagainbancroft.ca.

We do not ship our dogs.
