Charlotte's Story
Charlotte is an affectionate, mouthy, loveable black lab. She can never be close enough to her people and loves everyone she meets. She likes jumping up and kneading your belly or melting by your feet to get belly rubs. She is house trained and crate trained. She is smart and trainable.

She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will be available for a new home on 9/1. The rescue will follow up on heartworm testing at the next recommended time to ensure negative results or provide treatment with proof of ongoing prevention from adopter.

Update 8/27: Charlotte moved to a quiet foster home today to continue her heartworm treat resting period. She got a little anxious being on crate rest with the other dogs being allowed out around her.

When Charlotte isn't on crate rest she loves to play with her best bud Loki, a similar sized mixed breed young dog. They wrestle on the couch and playfully fight over toys. He came to rescue terrified and she brought him right out of his shell. She is a great companion and would love a sibling to play with. She also loved the senior beagle in the foster home.
