charlotte's Story

Meet Charlotte the goofy cuddle bug! This 2-year-old pitbull mix is pure affection-always ready for hugs, loves to snuggle into blankets, and has the kind of personality that turns any day into a good one.

This smart girl is fully potty trained, house trained, and loves her crate likes its her safe place. She settles nicely and understands the routine. She will definitely let you know when someone is at the door but then will immediately be happy to lovingly greet them!

She has a strong personality and may not be best in a home with another female dog. Charlotte currently lives with a male heeler who adores her.

She currently lives with a cat but will need a good introduction with a new feline friend. With continued training and guidance, she could be successful with the right cat.

When she first came into rescue, she was dealing with some skin and stomach issues that made it harder for her to catch a potential adopter's eye at the shelter. That's one of the reasons we brought her into foster care - and she has absolutely blossomed! With proper care and love, her skin is healing beautifully, her coat is looking better every day, and she has filled out her frame. More importantly, her sweet personality is shining through.

If you're looking for a loyal, snuggly best friend who's learning and growing with the right home, this sweet girl might be your perfect match.
