Charlotte's Story

Charlotte is a sweet, playful, lovable young pup! She is a terrier, about 2 years weighing 13 lbs. Charlotte has come a long way from the very shy pup she was when first coming into our care. She can be initially shy with new people (particularly men), but once she knows you, she's good. She is not a lap dog. She is housetrained with a dog door. We feel it would be best for Charlotte to go to a home with a dog door and a secure back yard to explore. It is a definite plus to have hardwood/laminate flooring rather than all carpet or rugs. Charlotte is not a barker and sleeps through the night. She absolutely loves to play with balls and toys and is very good at entertaining herself with toys. She would be fine as the only pet.

Charlotte has been to daycare at Bark Canine Club in Mesquite and has done very well. She loves to play with like-minded small dogs. Charlotte is being fostered in a home with a large dog. At first, she would occasionally aggress at the big dog, but with firm correction by her foster, but that negative behavior has stopped.

To express interest in Charlotte, please complete and submit our Adoption Interest Form at wecareforanimals.org. Her adoption fee is $150.
