Charlotte

Charlotte is a gorgeous, affectionate, and silly girl who is waiting patiently for her forever family. Originally from the CNY SPCA, she was transferred to Helping Hounds in hopes of her receiving more attention. Charlotte has had litters of puppies in the past who have all been adopted, and now it's her turn to be loved in a home of her own. She has quickly captured the hearts of the staff and volunteers here, and now she's waiting to capture yours. Charlotte knows sit, is working on stay, and walks beautifully on a leash. She's got the nose of a truffle pig, and sounds like one too. Charlotte loves to play and be active, but after the fun she is excellent at calming down and cuddling with you. She's quiet as a mouse in her crate (unless you're preparing dinner). She is highly food motivated (specifically cheese motivated) which will make further training a breeze. Charlotte loves making friends with other doggies, but has not yet been cat tested. Due to her energy level she would do best in a home with older children. Dogs like Charlotte are often overlooked because of their age, but you would never guess she's a day over 2.
