Meet Charlie- Waiting in a foster home
Charlie is a 4 year old active Husky who is looking for an adult only home without other pets. How can we sum up Charlie in a few short paragraphs? Well, to start, this guy is a giant ball of fluffy fur and energy! True to his breed, not much makes Charlie tired. He loves running, walking, playing with toys and just bouncing around.
Charlie would love to be in a home with someone who runs or hikes regularly and he is a great companion in a car. Charlie's new home needs to have a fenced in yard.
Charlie is too much dog for kids so he needs to be in an adult only home. He doesn't tolerate restraint, hugs or heavy handling so it's important his new owner understands canine body language and respects his boundaries. He doesn't get along with other animals and it's important he is always leashed and unable to ever approach another animal.
It's important that his new owner knows that he cannot be off leash or in a yard where he could potentially escape. Charlie loves to run zoomies and will entertain himself with toys.
Although Charlie can be a bit finicky, overall he is a real people dog. Charlie loves to rub up against everyone and enjoys all human company! He will make a great companion to someone very savvy about the husky breed and who is very active.
