Charlie - Girl's Story
We think Charlie is possibly a Collie mix or Border Collie mix. Hard to tell, but regardless, she is absolutely gorgeous!

She is about 4 years old, 55 lbs and will be spayed soon.

We are accepting applications for her.

Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:

Charlie is a very sweet girl who is looking for her new home! In her foster home, she gets along with the resident dog and lets the other dog take the lead. She loves to get attention and affection. She also loves to play with her rope toy!

Charlie cherishes her walks and hikes. She was originally a city gal so enjoys going out on block walks, but now that she has been exposed to suburbs and hiking trails, hiking is her new favorite pastime! She loves the brooks, the trees, and the whole adventure. She has a lot of energy and needs frequent adventure and exercise. She could use some continued training to reinforce learning not to pull on the leash.

Speaking of adventure, Charlie absolutely loves car rides! She would love to help with your daily errands. She is so happy to take in all of the new scenery and likes to ride in the passenger seat beside you if you’ll allow her! She is a good girl in the car, sitting in the back seat like the perfect passenger. Once in a while, she shows a bit of her herding dog willfulness by exerting gentle pressure to try to make it into that front seat! She thought everyone knew that herding dogs ride shotgun at least once in a while!

Charlie used to live with cats.

Charlie is a very loving girl and would like to be with her person as much as possible. Togetherness and adventure is the name of the game for this girl!

She is not a fan of the vet. She is very friendly with people until the exam begins, then she becomes frightened and reacts. This is easily handled by making a plan with the vet in advance and utilizing the available options.

Charlie is being fostered in CT.

Please go to our website to fill out an application for Charlie, echorescue.com/application/
