Charlie's Story
I’m Charlie. About 2yrs old or so. Pretty sure I am a border collie/heeler mix. I have no tail which just adds to my funny character. My foster mom says she calls me Charlie because of my bottom wiggle walk...like Charlie Chaplin. Whatever that means….

I was found in the park where I was just left to wander and starve. I guess my old owners figured the park had dog food growing in the grass and I would be ok? But I sure couldn’t find any food there.

My likes:
Chasing balls and little boys.
Wrestling with my other doggy friends.
Chewing on sticks and plastic toys.
Splashing in puddles!!
Climbing chain link fences. (My foster mom says I excel at scaling 6ft chain link fencing and require someone with a wooden privacy fence)
Running fast!
Sleeping on a fluffy dog bed.

My dislikes:
Cats. I don’t want to eat them or anything but I sure do like to try and convince them to run! Then I can chase them…yeeehaw. Mom fusses at me for it so I try real hard not to mess with them.
Being by myself outside

Foster mom comments.

Charlie is a very sweet dog. He is super smart and would be great at agility training. He at first didn’t even know how to play ball, he excels at it now! He even brings it back to you most of the time! Charlie is very submissive but very loving. He gets scared if you yell or raise your hand too quickly. You couldn’t find a sweeter guy in my opinion. He is a working dog, so he needs things to do, or someone to play with. But also likes to just lay down and take it easy. He gets along with any dog, big or small. Charlie requires a home with a very tall wood fence, or never be left outside alone even for a short while. When left on his own Charlie will escape the yard and find something to do on his own.
